The Staff Selection Commission has made a bumper increase in the number of vacancies released under Junior Engineer Recruitment 2024. Now there will be recruitment for 1765 posts of JE, whereas earlier only 966 posts were advertised. Now out of total 1765 posts, 276 posts are reserved for SC, 127 ST, 485 OBC, 178 EWS category. 699 posts are unreserved. Applications for this recruitment were sought in April 2024. Those with B.Tech degree or three-year diploma were given a chance to apply. After this, SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Examination was conducted from 5 June to 7 June 2024. The answer key has been released and the result is awaited. This examination is for appointment to the posts of Junior Engineer in various ministries, offices and departments of the Central Government. These recruitments are being done for the Central Government’s Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Centre Water Commission, Centre Public Works Department, Centre Water Power Research Station, DGQA-Naval Defence Ministry, Farakka Barrage, Military Engineering Services, National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO).
The selected candidates will get this pay scale – Group B non-gazetted post, level – 6 (35400- 112400/-)
Apply for 8326 SSC MTS posts till 31st
SSC has released the notification for MTS exam. Registration has started for 8,326 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). Applications for SSC MTS 2024 can be made till 31st July 11 pm. The exam for 4,887 MTS and 3,439 Havildar posts in MTS will be conducted in October-November. Candidates must have passed class 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized board. To apply, applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. The last date to pay the fee is August 1.
