Chhattisgarh Forest Guard Posts: If you want to apply for the posts of Forest Guard, then this is a good opportunity for you. Let us tell you, Chhattisgarh State Forest Department has resumed the process of application for the posts of Forest Guard. In the year 2023, applications were invited for direct recruitment to 1,484 posts of Forest Guard, but recruitment could not be done. Now the department has given another opportunity to the candidates to apply online again. Before starting the application process, candidates are advised to read the entire process related to recruitment, only then start the process further.
Chhattisgarh State Forest Department has issued a notification, candidates who did not apply for 1,484 posts or are not eligible, can now apply online again by visiting the department’s website www.cgfirst.com. Let us tell you, eligible candidates do not need to apply again. The last date to apply is 1 July 2024 till 11:59 pm.
Know- Educational Qualification
To apply for the post of Forest Guard, the candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (12th) from any recognized school. Also, only the original applicants of Chhattisgarh State can apply online.
Age Limit
To apply for the post of Chhattisgarh Forest Guard, the minimum age should not be less than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 40 years.
Know about physical measurement
According to the minimum physical requirement for the post of Forest Guard, the height of male candidates of ST category should be 152 cm. The height for other categories has been fixed at 163 cm. The height for female candidates of ST category should be 145 cm. The height for other categories has been fixed at 150 cm.
Know how the selection will be done
After checking the application documents submitted by the candidates and those candidates who fulfil the physical requirements will be called for aptitude test.
Let us tell you, the Physical Aptitude Test will be of total 100 marks. In which candidates will have to score at least 60 marks to be successful. 25 marks have been fixed for 200 meter race, 25 marks for 800 meter race, 25 marks for long jump and 25 marks for shot put.
Know about the written exam
Based on the result of the Physical Aptitude Test, a merit ranking list will be prepared in which only a maximum of 15 times the number of vacancies in the list will be admitted to the written examination.
Talking about the pattern of the written exam, it will be objective type and will carry a total of 100 marks. In which questions will be asked on General Knowledge, Intelligence, Analytical Ability and Arithmetic. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
