Prime Video has released the poster of ‘Mirzapur 3’ but it has not yet been announced when the series will premiere. From the day the poster was released, discussions started happening whether Munna Bhaiya aka Divyendu Sharma would be there in this season. The makers did not tag Divyendu with the post. For this reason also these discussions are taking place. Now the actor talked about this and cleared all the confusion.
The actor gave a shock
Munna Bhaiya was an important character in ‘Mirzapur’. Divyendu’s acting was liked a lot. In an interview with Humans of Bombay, he was asked if he would make a surprise entry as Munna Bhaiya. On this Divyendu said, ‘I am not a part of Season 3, friends. I know this is heartbreaking… I love these plot points but on Humans of Bombay I will announce that I am not a part of Season 3.
Fans were expecting a comeback
In ‘Mirzapur’, Divyendu played the role of Munna Bhaiya alias Phoolchand, son of gangster Akhandanand Tripathi alias Kalin Bhaiya. Pankaj Tripathi played his father in the show. Munna Bhaiya’s character clashes with Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal). Although Guddu kills Munna in season 2, fans were expecting the return of Divyendu in the third season.

Divyendu made his Bollywood debut with ‘Aaja Nachle’. After this he worked in ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Chashme Baddoor’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and ‘Madgaon Express’. Some time ago he was also seen in the web series ‘The Railway Man’.
