Mirzapur 3 Spoiler Free Review: Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal’s web series ‘Mirzapur-3’ has arrived on OTT. When people saw the bloodshed in the first and second seasons of ‘Mirzapur’, they were convinced. They were convinced that there would be even more violence in the third season. Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit are going to come face to face and Kaleen Bhaiya is going to avenge the death of his son Munna Tripathi. But the question arises whether this is really going to happen in the third season? Read our review before taking out 10 hours to watch 10 episodes.

The story is like this (spoiler free)

At the end of the second season of Mirzapur, it is shown that Guddu Pandit shoots Munna Tripathi and Kaleen Bhaiya. The third season starts from here. Munna Tripathi dies and Sharad Shukla takes the injured Kaleen Bhaiya with him. In the absence of Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit uses all means to sit on the throne of Mirzapur, but the twist in the story comes when Kaleen Bhaiya regains consciousness. To know the story further, you will have to watch the web series.

top class acting

Guddu Pandit’s (Ali Fazal) role in Mirzapur 3 is very strong. Ali Fazal has given this character new heights with his talent. Golu (Shweta Tripathi), who was lost in books in the first season, gets a complete makeover in the third season. Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) has a lot of screen time in Mirzapur 3. He did not get much to do in the second season, but he has done a wonderful job in this season.

Weak characters

Pankaj Tripathi is the soul of this series, but his character Kaleen Bhaiya has been shown to be very weak in the third season. However, he has tried his best to make the most of the space he got. Rasika Duggal has also done a strong job as Kaleen Bhaiya’s wife Beena Tripathi. CM Madhuri Yadav i.e. Isha Talwar also looks fine. Chote Tyagi aka Vijay Verma’s acting was good, but the character was not interesting.

The life of the show was sidelined

People had high expectations from Mirzapur 3 director Gurmeet Singh, but he could not live up to these expectations. Yes, Mirzapur 3 could not leave as much impact as Mirzapur 1 and Mirzapur 2 did. The biggest reason for this is the less screen time given to the lead character of the show, Kaleen Bhaiya. People were excited after watching the trailer because they thought that they would get to see the clash between Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur 3, but when they watch the web series, they will be very disappointed.

Weak story

Apart from the absence of Kaleen Bhaiya, the story also did not seem strong. Mirzapur is known for violence, strong dialogues and punchlines. However, in Mirzapur-3, the amount of all these was reduced. It seemed that some scenes were shown forcefully to lengthen the story. If the story of 10 episodes was finished in 5 episodes, then perhaps the story would have seemed a little stronger.

Climax

While the thrill was missing from the entire series, the ending sequence was interesting. After watching the climax, you will be shocked and will also understand that the fourth season of ‘Mirzapur’ is about to come.

Should we watch it or not?

You can watch the third season of Mirzapur, but don’t expect much because the 10 episodes of the web series are very different from its trailer. The trailer hints at a bloodbath for the throne of Mirzapur and a clash between Guddu Pandit and Kaleen Bhaiya, but (spoiler alert) the two don’t even come face to face in the 10-episode series. Apart from this, the absence of Munna Tripathi (Divyendu Sharma) is also felt.
