Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has once again increased the number of vacancies in Junior Engineer Recruitment. Now the number of vacancies has been increased from 4376 to 4612. In March 2024, proposals were sought for recruitment to 2847 posts. It was increased to 4376 a few days ago. Now the commission has issued a fresh notice on Monday and increased 236 vacancies (civil). In this, 198 posts are for general selection and 38 posts are for special selection. These posts are of Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council. Now in total 4612 vacancies, there are 3739 posts for general selection and 873 posts for special selection. The last date for receiving applications has also been extended to June 28. Earlier the last date was June 7.
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum 40 years. Candidates of reserved category will be given age relaxation as per rules. Please note that age will be calculated on the basis of 1st July 2024. Selection for these posts in UPSSSC will be done through written examination and interview.
