A total of 1454 teachers and 163 non-teaching posts will be filled in 88 government schools of Uttar Pradesh. The number of posts of teachers and non-teaching staff has been released for 75 government inter colleges and 13 government high schools in the state. Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar has issued an order in this regard. A decision will be taken soon on the recruitment process for teacher posts, while the posts of non-teaching staff will be filled through outsourcing. There will be 75 posts of principals, 750 posts of lecturers, 525 posts of assistant teachers and 150 posts of junior assistants in 75 new government inter colleges. At the same time, there will be recruitment for 13 posts of principals, 91 posts of assistant teachers and 13 posts of junior assistants in government high schools.

Appointment on 60 posts of contract teachers next month
Gorakhpur. Preparations are on to increase the created posts of contract teachers in the self-financed courses being run in Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. 60 more posts of contract teachers will be created for running these courses. Its agenda is being prepared. The proposal for these appointments will be placed in the meeting of the Finance Committee and Management Board to be held on July 1. After getting approval, the appointment process is expected to start in July itself.

Till now, only about 20 posts of contract teachers were created in self-financed courses in MMMUT. Their need was felt in view of the third year of B.Tech in IoT and Pharmacy being opened for the first time. Apart from these, Management and M.Sc (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) are also self-financed courses. In order to improve the student-teacher ratio, the posts of contract teachers will be increased in these departments too.

Guest faculty interview today and tomorrow
A total of 169 guest faculty are to be appointed in 13 departments of the university. Interviews for guest faculty will be held on 28 and 29 June. The process of appointing a total of 110 permanent teachers is also underway. Now preparations are also underway to appoint contract teachers along with guest faculty and permanent teachers.

Recruitment of teachers on these contractual posts
A total of 9 professors, 16 associate professors and 35 assistant professors will be appointed on contract basis for different departments. They will be paid the salary determined by the government. Preparations are being made regarding this.

The envelope of these appointments will be opened
15 percent of the total seats for contract teachers are reserved for Adjunct Professor and Professor of Practice. For the first time, posts of Adjunct Professor and Professor of Practice have been created in MMMUT. The process of their appointment has also been completed. Its envelope will be opened in the meeting of the Management Board on July 1.

60 more contract teachers will be appointed in self-financed courses. This proposal will be placed in the meeting of the Finance Committee and the Management Board. After getting approval, the appointment process will begin.
