In Bihar’s Anandpur OP area, the dispute between husband and wife took such a serious turn that the husband killed his wife. This incident happened on Friday night in Fatehpur (Maykuda) village of Anandpur OP area. After the murder of Golki Devi, her three children have lost their mother. Here, the father of the children is also absconding after the murder of his wife.
The accused husband Sarju Khaira took his wife Golki Devi (age 30) to Joria near their house and killed her by hitting her with a stone. After the murder, the accused fled from the spot the same night. The accused Sarju Khaira is said to be the son of Laldhari Khaira, a resident of Bhagayachak in Banka police station area. On receiving information on Saturday morning, the police reached the spot, took the body into their custody and sent it to Banka for postmortem.
Sarju Khaira was staying at his in-laws’ house for the last five days. There was a quarrel going on between the husband and wife. Late on Saturday night, Sarju Khaira left the house with his wife and took her to Joria near the village and killed her. The deceased’s brother Dwarika Pujar said that on Saturday morning when he did not see his sister and brother-in-law in the house, he started searching around.
During this time, he got the news that his sister was murdered and her body was thrown in Joria. When he reached the spot, he saw that her dead body was indeed lying there. Then Dwarika Pujar informed Anandpur police about the entire incident. On receiving the information, Belhar SDPO Rajkishore Kumar and Anandpur OP President Vipin Kumar reached the spot with their team and cordoned off the area and informed the FSL team.
The forensic team reached the spot and collected evidence. The police took the body into custody and sent it to Banka for postmortem. On the statement of the deceased’s mother Masomat Putli Devi, a resident of Fatehpur village, an FIR of murder has been lodged against her son-in-law Sarju Khaira. The SDPO said that soon the murder accused husband Sarju Khaira will be arrested and the case will be settled.
After the murder of Golki Devi, her three children have lost their mother. They have two sons and a daughter. The three children and other family members are in shock and in a bad state due to the death of their mother. Meanwhile, the father of the children is also absconding after killing his wife.
