Cyber fraudsters duped a doctor of Aligarh’s Banna Devi police station area of Rs 1 lakh by threatening him with his son’s arrest. The fraudsters told the doctor that his son has been arrested in a rape case. The matter will be settled for Rs 1 lakh. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against unknown persons and started investigation.
Dr. Ramprasad Sharma, a resident of Advocate Colony on ITI Road, has a clinic by the name of Prakash Clinic in Shivpuri. On May 5, he received a call from an unknown number on his mobile. The caller said that three boys have been caught with a girl. Your son was standing outside. Those boys took your son’s name. So, we have brought him to the police station. Give one lakh rupees for this if you want to save him. The caller said that he was from Sadar Police Station, Delhi. He did not even let him disconnect the call.
