Government jobs 2024: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Engineering Trainee. Interested candidates can apply on the official website www.powergrid.in before July 4. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released recruitment for 435 posts for Electrical (331 posts), Civil (53 posts) & Electronics (14 posts) & Computer Science (37 posts) Engineering.
Educational qualification
Candidates must have a graduation degree in courses like BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) with at least 60 percent marks from any recognized institute. Final year candidates, who are expecting their results to be released by August 14, 2024, are also eligible to apply. Along with this, the candidates must have cleared the GATE 2024 exam.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit of the candidate should be 18 years or above, while their upper age limit has been fixed at 28 years. The age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC category candidates, 5 years for SC/ST and PwBD category and ex-servicemen have to follow the guidelines of the Government of India.
Application Fees
The application fee for General category candidates is Rs 500 and for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates the application fee is exempted.
PGCIL Vacancies: Apply by following these steps
– First of all go to the official website www.powergrid.in.
-Go to the Career section, then click on “Job Opportunities”, then click on “Engineer Trainee Recruitment through Gate 2024” link.
– Click on the ‘Register/Apply’ option. Then, enter your email and number to register through ‘New Registration’.
-Once your login credentials are mailed, you can use it to access the application form.
-Enter all the GATE 2024 registration details along with other details and review it.
-Upload passport size photo and signature along with other required documents.
– Now pay the required application fee online, which will complete the application process.
