NCERT Recruitment 2024: National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Assam has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). Eligible candidates are for NCERT Research Project (GOI-MOE-NCERT Research Project FY 2024 – 2025) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This research program of the government is on the subject “Study of Economic Concepts in Indian Knowledge System”. NCERT has clarified that this recruitment is completely temporary and contract based.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) was formed in 1961 as an autonomous body. The Government of India formed this institution to advise the Central Government and State Governments to improve the quality of school education. The main work of NCERT and its units includes conducting research on school education, publishing books, publishing supplementary material etc. Preparing NCERT educational kits and preparing multimedia digital material is also the responsibility of NCERT.
Selection Process: In this recruitment of NCERT, eligible candidates will be selected directly through interview without examination. Candidates should note that the interview or walk-in interview for this recruitment of NCERT will be conducted on 31st May 2024.

Candidates willing to apply for this NCERT recruitment should have a master’s degree in social science or education or Hindi or Sanskrit or English with a minimum of 55% marks. For SC, ST, only 50% marks are required. Along with this, there should also be two years of experience in research work in an institute. Apart from this, there are some other conditions which can be seen in the detailed recruitment notification.
Age Range – Should not be more than 45 years.
Salary – Rs 35000 per month.
