Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, mocked the INDIA bloc on Thursday, asking how they would unite the nation if they could not come together as one.
Addressing the INDIA block, Yogi Adityanath stated that the INDIA block partners will participate in the elections separately. He said, “In the ongoing elections, there is an INDI alliance under the leadership of the Congress. The Aam Aadmi Party is a partner of the Congress in the INDI alliance and the party is leading the government in Punjab, but still, the Congress and the AAP are fighting separately. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) is also part of the INDI alliance, but in West Bengal, the Congress and the TMC are fighting each other.”
He further added, “In every state, their condition is the same… The truth is, if they cannot become one, then how will they unite the nation?”
The Uttar Pradesh chief minister made these comments while addressing a public meeting in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, in favor of BJP candidate Anurag Thakur.
Intensifying his attacks on Congress for handing over OBC, SC and ST reservations to Muslims, Adityanath said: “The Congress formed Justice Ranganath Misra Committee so that they could hand over OBC reservations to Muslims. They formed Justice Sachar Committee giving SC and ST reservation to Muslims.”
He added, “It was the BJP who protested against it. Anurag Thakur at that time was the MP and we protested against it. We said we would not let the Congress intentions win. And today again in their manifesto, they say the same thing. “
In his speech, Yogi Adityanath also praised Anurag Thakur and praised his work in the field of sports. He said, “Since Anurag Thakur became Sports Minister, he has created enthusiasm among the youth of our country. Team India has won the highest number of medals in the Olympics till date. The nation has won the highest number of medals at the Paralympic Games and has also won the most medals at the Commonwealth Games.
He added, “Not only in Hamirpur, but Anurag Thakur had also built so many stadiums across the country… In each district, he has established Khelo India Centre.”
Yogi Adityanath also used his official name X and posted about the public rally in Hamirpur. He posted: “Today, the same voice resonates in Hamirpur… that resonates across Himachal Pradesh and across India – the Modi Government for the third time. On June 4, a tsunami of BJP and NDA will hit the entire country. .. “.
Anurag Thakur also resorted to his official name time, which means that every vote you cast for Anurag Thakur became our strength to build the Ram temple in Ayodhya.”
He added, “I thank Yogi Adityanath from the bottom of my heart for his affection and affinity. Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency will once again witness the historic victory of the BJP.”
June 1 is reserved for a single phase of voting for the 2024 Himachal Pradesh general elections.
Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur and Shimla are the four Lok Sabha seats held by the state of Himachal Pradesh.
On the same day as the Lok Sabha elections, there will be by-elections to six assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh. Following the disqualification of dissident Congress MLAs, these seats fell vacant.
The results of both the Lok Sabha elections and the assembly elections will be announced on June 4.
The BJP won all four Lok Sabha constituencies in the state in the 2019 elections.
