UP Roadways Driver Vacancy: The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has started the direct recruitment process for 6000 drivers in all the regions of the state. UP Roadways driver recruitment is to be done on contract basis. 98 contract drivers are to be appointed in Prayagraj region. Candidates willing to work as contract driver in Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation can submit the application form by contacting their nearest Transport Corporation depot or office on any working day. Candidates who are found completely suitable will be required to deposit a refundable amount of only Rs 2000.
Ability – Must have passed at least 8th standard. Must be at least 23 and a half years of age. SC, ST category will get relaxation as per the rules of the state government.
– The candidate should have a license to drive a heavy vehicle. It should have been made two years ago.
– Height should be at least 5 feet 3 inches.
How much salary will you get
– Payment will be made at the rate of 1.89 paise per km. Apart from this, Rs 3000 will be given as incentive on completion of 22 days duty and 5000 km.
– On completion of two years of fixed service, as per rules, provision of fixation of total salary of Rs. 19593 including remuneration and incentives for excellent category and total salary of Rs. 16593 including remuneration and incentives under Uttam Category Scheme.
– Extra annual incentive amount for accident free bus operations.
– EPF and accident insurance facility of Rs 7.50 lakh.
– Facility of free travel pass.
Tips to avoid fraud
To avoid any fraud in this recruitment, an advisory has been issued from the government level. The government has advised the candidates that direct recruitment of contract drivers is to be done (without any middleman). Therefore, candidates should not get misled by anyone. 50 candidates passed the test
A total of 200 candidates have participated in the camps organized for the recruitment of contract drivers at Zero Road Depot, Badshahpur Depot, Civil Lines Depot and Lalganj Depot on 10th and 11th June under the Prayagraj Region of the Corporation. According to the data released by RM MK Trivedi late on Tuesday evening, out of 200 candidates, 50 candidates have been declared successful in the first stage of the test in two days. The documents of all of them have been submitted. Recruitment camps will also be organized on 12th and 13th June.
