He Nationalist Congress Party (NCP SP) chief Sharad Pawar has claimed that the first three phases of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections have been unsettling for Prime Minister Modi, according to ANI.
Sharad Pawar said on Thursday: “The first three phases of the elections have been unsettling for Modi. This has changed the tone of his campaign. The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is likely to win 30-35 seats in Maharashtra. The candidates of the MVA be elected with a good margin,” ANI reported.

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) consists of the NCP, the Congress, led by Sharad Pawar, and the Shiv Sena, led by Uddhav Thackeray. The parties are also part of the INDIA bloc.
Meanwhile, voting was held in 11 of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra on May 7 in the third phase of general elections.
Maharashtra recorded 54.09 per cent voter turnout on Tuesday in the third phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024officials said, PTI reported.
In the first two phases of elections in the state, a voter turnout of more than 62 percent was recorded.
According to data shared by election authorities, Kolhapur seat recorded the highest turnout of 63.71 per cent, while Baramati seat, where two members of the influential Pawar family were involved in a bitter fight, recorded turnout lowest of 47.84 percent. cent, according to the PTI.
In Baramati, Maharashtra, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule took on Sunetra Pawar, wife of veteran leader and Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar’s estranged nephew.
Meanwhile, Hatkanangale recorded 62.18 percent voter turnout, Osmanabad 56.84 percent, Latur 55.38 percent, Satara 54.74 percent, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg 53.75 percent, Sangli 52.56 percent, Raigad 50.31 percent, Madha 50.00 percent and Solapur. 49.17 percent, according to the PTI.
