Taylor Swift has come out in support of fellow musician Lady Gaga after the latter posted a video refuting pregnancy rumours. Swift reportedly addressed the rumors by saying, “Can we all agree that it’s invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body? “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation and neither does any woman.”
Earlier this week, Gaga took to TikTok to shut down the rumors while referencing Swift’s song Down Bad by The Department of Tortured Poets. She shared the 10-second video with the audio ‘I am the aesthetic’, which says: “I don’t have to find an aesthetic; I am the aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s someone here right now who’s going on Pinterest trying to type all these adjectives to describe me.” Alongside the clip, Gaga wrote, “I’m not pregnant, I just cried a lot at the gym.”
Previously, in April, Gaga received similar attention after being seen wearing a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger during an outing, leading fans to speculate that she and her boyfriend, Michael Polansky, were engaged. Gaga was previously engaged to talent agent Christian Carino. They started dating in February 2017 and called off their engagement in February 2019. Until their romance, Gaga dated Taylor Kinney for about four years, before getting engaged in February 2015. A year later, they ended their relationship.
