SSC CHSL Vacancy 2024: Today 7th May is the last date of application for 3712 vacancies under SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024. If any interested candidate has still not applied then he can apply immediately by visiting the official website ssc.nic.gov. You will be able to pay fees through online mode till tomorrow 8th May. Corrections can be made in the application form on May 10 and May 11. Tier-1 examination will be conducted in June-July 2024. The timing of Tier-2 will be told later.

10 special things related to SSC CHSL recruitment
1. What is the qualification?

For Data Entry Operator (DEO, DEO Grade A – Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture) – 12th pass from Science stream.
LDC/JSA & DEO/DEO Grade A – 12th pass from any stream.
Must have completed the required educational qualification by 1st August 2024.

2. Age Limit – 18 to 27 years. Age will be calculated from 1st August 2024. That is, the candidate should not be born before 2 August 1997 and after 1 August 2006. OBC will be given three years relaxation in age limit and SC and ST will be given five years relaxation.

3. Pay scale of various posts of CHSL Recruitment
SSC CHSL 2024 Live: What is the salary of the vacancy under CHSL Recruitment?
– Pay Level-2 for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/JSA Rs 19,900-63,200 per month
For Data Entry Operator (DEO), pay level-4 ranges from Rs 25,500-81,100 per month, while pay level-5 ranges from Rs 29,200-92,300 per month.
– Pay Level-4 for Data Entry Operator Grade A Rs 25,500-81,100.

4. Selection Process
If we talk about the selection process, then first there will be Tier-I (Computer Based Examination) exam. Candidates passing this will be called for Tier-II (Computer Based Examination). Tier-I paper will consist of 4 parts each consisting of 25 questions from different subjects. All questions will be objective type multiple choice. The subjects include English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skills) and General Awareness. The examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions with negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong response. Candidates will be given a total of 60 minutes to write Tier-1 paper. Candidates who pass Tier-1 will be called for Tier-2.

5. There will be two sessions in Tier-2 in which the first session will be written examination and the second will be skill test/typing test (as per the post).

6. If the exam will be held in multiple shifts, the marks will be normalized. The result will be released based on normalized marks only.

7. Negative Marking- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in SSC CHSL exam.

8. What are the minimum qualifying marks of SSC CHSL?
Unreserved: 30 percent
OBC/EWS: 25 percent
All other categories: 20 percent

9. Application Fee for SSC CHSL Recruitment
General, OBC and EWS – Rs 100
SC, ST, disabled and women of all categories – no fees

10. Fill OTR on the new website
SSC has said that one time registration-OTR should be done on the new website of the Commission, ssc.gov.in, because the old website is ssc.nic. OTR done on in will not be valid. There will be a provision for taking live photographs on the new website. For this, webcam can be used on computer/laptop or Android device. Candidates must take proper care while taking their photograph.

Provision for taking live photographs in new SSC OTR
SSC has said that a provision has been made for the candidates to take live photographs for applying for all the recruitments on the new website. That is, during the application, the candidates will have to upload a live photo from their laptop/computer’s webcam or Android mobile. A provision for capturing such live photos has been made in the application module of the new website. Till now, during the application on the SSC website, the candidates had to upload the pre-taken photograph.
