Actor Taha Shah Badushsha, who plays the role of Tajdar in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series ‘Hiramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, has shared his experience. Taha told that when he went to the set, Sanjay Leela Bhansali did not talk to him. Whenever Sanjay Leela Bhansali had something to say to him, he used to send his assistant to him. Now the question arises that why did Sanjay Leela Bhansali do this? Let us tell.

How was Taha’s experience with Sanjay Leela Bhansali?

Taha said that working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is both challenging and inspiring. He said in an interview to Indian Express, “Sanjay sir did not talk to me for the first two days. If he had something to say or instructions to give, he would send his assistant, Amarinder, to me. I was not able to understand anything. Then three days later, he took me aside and said, ‘Why don’t you talk to me? You come and sit near me, look at the monitor. Look at me and observe.’ My life came to life. Then whenever he was on the set, I used to keep looking at him and sit near him. Lucky for me they didn’t scold me.”

Talk about Farida Jalal

Taha further said, “Sanjay sir has a very clean heart. I think he has a great sense of humor. He is a person who wants perfection in everything. Along with Sir, I also got to learn a lot from Farida Ma’am.” To recall, veteran actress Farida Jalal played the role of Tajdar’s grandmother Qudsia Begum in ‘Hiramandi’. Talking about Farida, Taha says, “She is a friend, mother and mentor to me. We became friends from the very first day. Whenever I ask her ‘How are you?’ So she laughs and says, I am Laddu.”
