Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Monday expressed grief over the death of 13 residents of Jhalwar district on Sunday along the Rajasthan-Rajgarh border. “Sad news has been received regarding the death of 13 citizens of Jhalawar district in an unfortunate road accident on Piplodi Road in Madhya Pradesh. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased,” the Rajasthan Chief Minister wrote in a publication in X.

The Chief Minister stated that “necessary instructions have been given to senior officials of Rajasthan to coordinate with officials of Madhya Pradesh to hand over the dead bodies to the families of the deceased and ensure proper treatment of the injured.” “May Lord Shri Ram grant peace to the souls of the deceased and speedy recovery to the citizens injured in this accident,” he added.
Late Sunday night, a tractor crashed near the Rajasthan-Rajgarh border, injuring fifteen people and killing thirteen, according to authorities. Two of the injured are in critical condition, according to the police, who also claimed that the occupants of the tractor were traveling to Rajasthan to attend a wedding.
“Some people from Rajasthan were coming on a tractor to the state to attend a wedding. Near the Rajasthan-Rajgarh border, the tractor overturned, resulting in the death of 13 people and 15 injuries. Two people were in serious condition. and they have been admitted to the hospital and we have referred them to Bhopal. The injured are receiving proper treatment as per the government instructions,” Rajgarh Collector Harsh Dikshit told ANI.
Expressing grief, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said, “Treatment of the injured is continuing at the Rajgarh district hospital and some seriously injured patients have been referred to Bhopal… My deepest condolences to the families We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured,” he added.
