A clash took place between security personnel and terrorists in Nihama neighborhood of Pulwama district on Monday morning.
In a post on X, the Kashmir Zone Police said that security forces are working. “The encounter has started in Nihama area of Pulwama district. Police and security forces are at work. More details will be given later,” he said.

The Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out a joint operation in Kupwara earlier this year that resulted in the recovery of a large supply of arms, ammunition and war-related equipment. Chinar Corps reported that “Operation Kot Nala” was the means of recovery.
“Based on specific information, today the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint search operation in the dense forest area of Awra, Kupwara. During the search, a terrorist hideout was dismantled and a large cache of weapons was found . Ammunition, equipment and other war supplies have been recovered,” Chinar Corps published in X.
In Kulgam, the Indian Army carried out ‘Operation Redwani Payeen’ on May 6, eliminating three terrorists.
In a post on been eliminated along with the recovery of war-type warehouses, inflicting another blow to the terrorist ecosystem.
