a massive fire It exploded on Tuesday in three adjoining factories in Delhi’s Mundka industrial area, officials said, according to PTI.

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) officials said no casualties were reported in the fire, they said.

“We received a call at 11.12 am about a fire in three different factories. The fire was brought under control by 5 pm and the cooling process is underway,” said a Delhi Fire Services official.

A total of 26 fire units intervened to put out the flames, authorities said.

The fire first started at a plastic pellet factory and spread to two adjacent factories, they said.

“The local police have been informed about the matter and an investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire,” the DFS official said, according to PTI.

Dyeing unit destroyed by fire in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra

In another incident in Maharashtra, a textile dyeing unit was completely destroyed in a fire in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Tuesday afternoon, civic officials said, PTI reported.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.

The fire broke out in the unit in Bhiwandi town around 1 pm, Bhiwandi-Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNMC) fire officer Khalil Darekar said, according to PTI.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known, he said.

On receiving information, firefighting vehicles along with personnel were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, Darekar said.

Fire breaks out in industrial building in Mumbai

Meanwhile, a massive fire broke out in a three-storey building located in an industrial estate in Mumbai on Tuesday morning, officials said, PTI reported.

No person was injured in the fire at the Gandhi Nagar Municipal Industrial Estate building in Worli area, they said.

A civic official said firefighters received information about the fire at 10:45 am and the flames were doused after more than an hour.

Officials from Mumbai Police District Office Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)BEST and other agencies involved were rushed to the spot to carry out firefighting operations on Tuesday, according to PTI.
