This shocking incident has come to light in Dehradun. The police has registered a case in this matter and started investigation.
A case has been registered against a Kashmiri student in Dehradun for trying to forcefully convert her Hindu friend. Not only this, the accused also pressured the fellow student to marry a young man from the Muslim community. Raipur police station registered a report in this case on Monday night.
Police station in-charge Kundan Ram said on Tuesday that a student from Rajpur area gave a complaint that she is studying in the third year of law in a college located on Sahasradhara Road. Mubeena Yusuf, resident of Anantnag Jammu and Kashmir, is also studying in the same college. Both of them came in contact with each other in the college itself.
It is alleged that during their stay together, the Kashmiri student took Mubeena’s private photographs by gaining her trust. After this, Mubeena started giving her information about her religion. Gradually, she put pressure on her to leave her religion. Not only this, the Kashmiri student started forcing her to marry a boy from another community.
For this, he was also offered money. On his refusal, the Kashmiri student is threatening to make his private photos viral. Not only this, the accused also got him death threats through some criminal types. Meanwhile, the police has started investigating this case.
