In a shocking revelation, Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Thursday said that tantriks from Kerala were being used to perform black magic against him and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to destabilize the Congress government in the state. Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, he said, “The tantriks of Kerala are being used to carry out ‘Shatru Bairavi Yajna’ against us. We have great faith that the blessings of God and the people will protect us.” .
He claimed that he had credible information that black magic rituals were being carried out at an isolated place near the Raja Rajeshwari temple in Kerala to destabilize our government in Karnataka. “They are using tantrics to perform ‘Raja Kantaka’ and ‘Marana Mohana Sthambana’ yajna. People who were aware of black magic rituals have given us all the information,” he said.
Shivakumar said that the yajnas are being conducted by “Aghoris” and 21 red goats, three buffaloes, 21 black sheep and five pigs are being sacrificed to perform black magic. “These yajnas are performed through Aghoris, and we have information that pancha bali (21 red goats, 3 buffaloes, 21 black sheep and 5 pigs) are being sacrificed for black magic,” he added.
The Dy CM further said that despite his attempts and experiments to cause harm, the strength he believes in will protect him. “Let them do black magic, it is his belief, the force we believe in will protect us. I always pray to God before leaving the house,” he added. When asked if the magic was being performed by the BJP or the JD(S), he maintained that politicians in Karnataka are responsible. “We know who is doing it. Politically active people are frequently attacked. I know who is carrying out this ritual. Let them continue their efforts; I am not bothered,” Shivakumar added.
