On Sunday morning, the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced were announced, with Ved Lahoti from IIT Delhi zone bagging the first rank by scoring 355 out of 360 marks.
A total of 1,80,200 candidates appeared in papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2024, held on May 26, 2024. A total of 48,248 candidates qualified for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Of them, 7,964 are candidates.
According to IIT Madras, which conducted the exam this time, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from IIT Bombay zone secured the highest rank among the candidates with a score of 322 out of 360 marks, while her all-India rank is 7.

Other candidates in the top 10 are: Aditya (IIT Delhi zone), Bhogalpalli Sandesh (IIT Madras zone), Rhythm Kedia (IIT Roorkee zone), Putti Kushal Kumar (IIT Maadras), Rajdeep Mishra (IIT Bombay zone), Koduri Tejeswar ( IIT Madras Zone), Dhruvi Hemant Doshi (IIT Bombay Zone) and Alladabona SSDB Sidhvik Suhas (IIT Madras Zone).
IIT Madras has declared the IIT JEE Advanced result 2024.
JEE-Main, which is the admission test for engineering colleges across the country, is the qualifying exam for JEE-Advanced.
Along with the results, the JEE Advanced toppers list was also revealed today, accompanied by the release of the final answer keys.
Candidates can check their scorecards using their login details such as roll number or information requested by the website at jeeadv.ac.in.
IIT Madras has announced the minimum marks required to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam.
Qualifying grades will be applied by subject and in aggregate. Only those candidates who qualify the JEE Advanced cut-off in 2024 will be ranked in the JEE Advanced rank list and hence eligible for IIT admissions.
The officials also shared the All India toppers list, Zonal toppers list along with the marks obtained by them, cut off marks for different categories and other details related to the exam along with the declaration of the results.
The cut off marks have been made available with the result on the official website.
According to the official website, the provisional start of Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2024, online counseling process for IITs and other centrally funded technical institutions such as NITs and IIITs, on June 10, 2024.
