Hugh JackmanKnown for his roles in ‘Van Helsing’, ‘Prisoners’, ‘Les Misérables’, among others, he spoke about the challenges of reprising his role as Wolverine in the upcoming film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, Deadline reported.
“When I did it again, it was really fun and I was excited. My body was a little sore at first, but I was excited that my body was still responding. And I realized how good it is for the brain. But the hardest thing… . the food,” Jackman said. He’s always had trouble bulking up.
“I have to eat a lot. For me, for my body type, I’m naturally thin. Gaining size is the hardest part. That’s the part that bothers me,” he added.
Previously, Ryan Reynolds said he “couldn’t believe” the physique he saw on Jackman.
“Just the sheer relentlessness with which you went about the stunts and the choreography. It was the first time I saw how invaluable having singing and dancing experience is when you’re doing an action movie,” he said. “You hit those fight scenes with speed and confidence like I’ve never seen before. I don’t care if you were 25, 35, 45 or 55. It was lightning.”
“Watching you do what looked like a specialist clinic was one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Reynolds added.
`Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters on July 26, Deadline reported.
