The actors of Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar are very impressed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s way of working. During interviews, they keep discussing their shooting experiences. Rajat Kaul has played the role of Iqbal in the series. He also has intimate scenes with Shruti Sharma. Now Rajat told that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had made them rehearse a lot before these scenes.
Sanjay had made preparations
Talking to News18 Showsha, Rajat Kaul said, ‘It is not easy. Actually it was quite pricking. Grass itself is prickly. I think it was done well. It was very surprising for me.’ Rajat told how he prepared for the intimate scene. For this, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had a deep discussion on it and then choreographed it.
it went on its own
Rajat said, a lot had to be done for the scene. There was a deep discussion. There were rehearsals. We choreographed it. After this there were interactions. Once you are in the scene, you forget everything. It happens on its own. I am sure everyone knows that Sanjay sir sees the scene like a moving picture, as if it is a painting. That is why things like the pallu getting stuck happen. This is how we approached it.
Shruti Sharma had rashes
Shruti Sharma, who did a romantic scene with Rajat, has also said that it was difficult for her to do this scene. The rehearsal for this went on for half a day and she even got rashes while doing the intimate scene.
