A massive fire broke out at a pipe warehouse located on the Delhi-Agra Expressway on Monday, police officials said. Firefighters rushed to the scene to put out the fire, they added.
“A large fire broke out in a warehouse full of plastic pipes near the motorway. The fire services have been called. Efforts are underway to control the fire. There are no reports of casualties in the incident. People have been evacuated. We want to control the flames and ensure that material losses are minimal. People are being isolated from the scene,” said Mathura senior superintendent of police Shailesh Pandey.
