After the end of the code of conduct, the recruitment process has resumed along with the stalled government work. Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has started the online examination for recruitment to 863 vacancies released last year. At the same time, the exam schedule for the recruitments released before the code of conduct came into force will be released soon. In such a situation, the youth will get better employment opportunities.
DSSSB had issued orders for the recruitment of technical and non-technical staff in Delhi Jail, Health and Family Welfare, Drug Control Department and other departments in November-2023. The department had issued eligibility criteria for 863 posts and invited applications. Eligible youth had applied for these posts till December 12 last year. The process was halted for some time due to the implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections in March this year. Now DSSSB has released the schedule of online examination for some of these 863 posts.
Schedule released till 30 June
DSSSB has released the schedule of online examination from 10th to 30th June. The examination has been conducted on 10th and 11th June. Now the examination will be conducted in three shifts from Wednesday 12th June to 19th June. On Wednesday, in the first shift, the examination will be conducted for Warder of Delhi Jail from 830 am to 1030 am, Warder and Junior Radiotherapy Technician from 1230 pm to 230 pm and Warder and Technical Assistant Group-4 from 430 pm to 630 pm. The examination will be conducted for the post of Warder from 13th June to 20th June (except 17th June), and for the posts of Warder, Refractionist, Assistant Engineer Civil, Senior Scientific Assistant, Technical Assistant of various departments on 22nd June. On 23rd June, the examination will be conducted only for the post of Assistant Engineer Civil in the evening shift and after that, on 30th June, there will be an online examination in three shifts for the same post.
