An attempt by three people to enter Parliament using forged documents is the subject of an investigation by the Delhi Police. Three people are reportedly using fictitious Aadhar cards to enter the Parliament complex and the Delhi Police has lodged a formal complaint and launched an investigation against them. According to the FIR, Kasim, a resident of Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, was using Monis’ Aadhar card. Monis, one of the three detained workers, showed an identical identity document.
According to his identity card, Soab, the third arrested individual, was originally from Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. According to the FIR, the three had tried to enter the Parliament Complex using an informal entry permit when they showed their identity cards. As for the First Information Report, a contractor is allegedly employing all three. The same number appears on Monis and Kasam’s Aadhar cards as on their photographs. These cards don’t look real. The name and investigation of the third worker, Soab, are being determined following the first information report filed by the Delhi Police.
Sections 419 (cheating by impersonation), 465 (committing forgery), 468 (using falsified documents to cheat), 471 (fraudulently or dishonestly using as genuine any document or electronic record that you know or have reason to believe is is false), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy to commit an offence) are covered by the FIR, which was lodged on the afternoon of May 4. The police confiscated the three identity cards and a detailed investigation is underway.
In December last year, six people were arrested for breaking into Parliament without authorization and throwing smoke canisters into the Lok Sabha. On Thursday, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena granted judicial sanctions against Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Amol Dhanraj Shinde, Neelam Ranolia, Lalit Jha and Mahesh Kumawat.
