BJP’s newly elected MP in Delhi, Bansuri Swaraj, has claimed that the Delhi government has removed 600 part-time vocational teachers from their jobs citing heat. At the same time, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has called the sudden removal of vocational teachers from their jobs a big conspiracy.

Bansuri Swaraj said on Saturday, “The Delhi government has removed part-time vocational teachers from their jobs… They have been told that this is being done due to the heat… However, they had sanctioned an amount of about Rs 38 crore for this, but then they removed about 600 teachers.”

BJP MPs met LG on the issue of vocational teachers

A delegation of BJP MPs on Saturday met Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on the issue and shared their concerns.

Talking about the meeting of BJP MPs with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that our MPs met the LG and requested him to take cognizance of the removal of 600 part-time vocational teachers in Delhi.

Sachdeva said, “There are about 600 vocational teachers in Delhi. They were suddenly removed from their jobs. When the Delhi government was asked why this was done, they said it was being done due to the heat… So our MPs met the LG and requested him to take cognizance of the matter.”

Manoj Tiwari said it was a conspiracy

Meanwhile, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari termed the sudden removal of vocational teachers from their jobs as a big conspiracy and assured that justice will be done in this matter.

Manoj Tiwari said, “The Delhi government has removed vocational teachers from their jobs. We met the Delhi LG on this and informed him about the issue. He has asked for a report on it… this is a big conspiracy… justice will be done in this matter.”
