BSF Vacancy 2024: Recruitment has been announced for 162 Group B and C posts in the Water Wing of Border Security Force BSF. These recruitments will be for the posts of Sub Inspector, Head Constable and Constable in categories like Engine Driver, Workshop and Crew. Out of the vacant posts, 63 posts are unreserved. 26 posts are reserved for EWS, 38 for OBC, 16 for SC, 19 for ST category. Right now the short notification of this recruitment has been issued. Know the qualification and age limit
SI Master – 22 years to 28 years. 12th pass. 2nd class Master Certificate issued by Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority/Mercantile Marine Department
SI Engine Driver – 22 years to 28 years. First Class Engine Driver Certificate issued by Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority/Mercantile Marine Department
HC Master – 20 years to 25 years. 10th pass and Serang certificate
HC Engine Driver – 20 years to 25 years. 10th pass. 2nd class engine driver certificate.
HC Workshop – 20 years to 25 years. 10th Pass and Workshop Diploma ITI – Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine), Workshop Electrician, Workshop AC Tractorian, Electronics, Machinist, Carpenter, Plumber, Motor Mechanic Diesel Petrol Engine etc.
Constable Crew – 10th pass. One year experience in operating a boat less than 265 HP. Should know how to swim in deep water without helper.
