The flood situation in Assam remained grim on Friday, with over two lakh people affected in nine districts, following incessant rains in the wake of Cyclone Remal.
In total, six people have died due to floods, rains and storms in the state since May 28, the official said.
Nagaon, Karimganj, Hailakandi, West Karbi Anglong, Cachar, Hojai, Golaghat, Karbi Angling and Dima Hasao districts were severely affected.
