General Manoj Pande, Chief of Army Staff, on Friday carried out a comprehensive review of the overall security situation along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh.
At the Fire and Fury Corps headquarters in Leh, the COAS was briefed in detail on the force’s combat readiness.
“General Manoj Pande, #COAS visited Fire and Fury Corps to review security situation and preparedness in #Ladakh,” the Army posted on X.
“Commanders gave #COAS a detailed update on the prevailing situation and ongoing operational preparedness. #COAS congratulated the officers and troops for their professionalism, unwavering commitment and dedication to duty,” he added.
Meanwhile, Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan chaired the Parivartan Chintan 2.0 meeting on May 9.
Deliberations were held between the President and the Subcommittees of the Chiefs of Staff Committee on the way forward towards theatricalization and the creation of efficient and effective forces capable of undertaking multi-domain operations to safeguard our territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
Brainstorming was carried out on vital reforms critical to achieving the intended objectives to achieve the desired joint integration.
