Actress Scarlett Johansson shared that she will headline the upcoming “Jurassic World,” which will be directed by Gareth Edwards, the director of “Godzilla” and “Rogue One,” based on a script written by David Koepp, Variety reported.
“I’m a big ‘Jurassic Park’ fan,” Johansson said.
She added: “It’s one of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters. I remember it very vividly. It changed my life and blew my mind. I can’t express how excited I am.”
The fourthjurassic world‘The film, which will tell a completely different story from the original “Jurassic World” trilogy starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, has an “incredible” script, according to Johansson.
Each of the three “Jurassic World” films grossed more than $1 billion at the global box office. In the newest movie, johansson plays the title role with Jonathan Bailey, David Iacono, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise and Manuel García-Rulfo.
“David Koepp wrote it and he came back after 30 years to write it and he’s very passionate about it,” Johannson said. “I’ve been trying to get into this franchise any way I can for over 10 years. I thought, ‘I’ll die in the first five minutes!’ I can eat anything! I’ll do the craft service.” !` I’ll do anything for it. The fact that it happened this way right now is incredible.”
‘Jurassic World 4’ will be filmed in locations such as Thailand and studios in Malta and the United Kingdom. Spielberg is executive producing the film through Amblin Entertainment.
“Jurassic Park” producer Frank Marshall will also return, along with his frequent producing partner Patrick Crowley, Variety reported.
