Manisha Koirala, the lead actress of this ‘Hiramandi’ released on the OTT platform Netflix, has narrated her shooting experience in this series after recovery from cancer. The actress told how due to the hectic schedule, initially she was a little doubtful whether she would be able to shoot or not. Manisha Koirala also narrated her experience of how she lay down in dirty water for almost 12 hours for a shot and still did not give up.
The fountain scene of ‘Hiramandi’ was not easy
Manisha Koirala said that Hiramandi is a milestone for her. He said that he is very happy because he did not have to be restricted to doing the same type of characters continuously. Manisha Koirala wrote on her social media handle, “I could never have imagined that after cancer and turning 50, a new phase of my life would begin. Today when I am getting so many compliments, I am able to forget those worries.” I can’t stop myself from thinking about those who troubled me a lot then.”
Koirala lay in dirty water for 12 hours
In this post, Manisha Koirala is talking about those concerns due to which she was very worried about entering the cinema world again. The actress told that she did not know that her body would be able to handle such a difficult shooting schedule and the burden of heavy costumes. Giving an example, Manisha Koirala wrote, “Doing the fountain sequence was physically very challenging for me. For this, I had to stay in the fountain water for 12 hours. However, Bhansali had constantly assured that the water should be lukewarm and Be clean. But after a few hours it became dirty.”
Got immense relief due to this fatigue
Manisha Koirala said that every pore of her body was drenched in dirty water and although she was very tired, it made her feel extremely happy. The actress said that despite being under a lot of stress, her body was adamant on completing the sequence. Manisha Koirala has played the role of Mallika Jaan in the series. Apart from them, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shekhar Suman and Richa Chadha have played important roles in this series.
