A shocking incident similar to Delhi’s Burari incident came to light from Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. Five members of the same family allegedly committed mass suicide in Roudi village of Alirajpur district. Police recovered five bodies hanging in the house on Monday. The deceased family included a couple and their three children. Police have registered a case in this regard and started investigation. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed under the leadership of SDOP Jobat to investigate the matter.

In a post on the social media handle ‘X’, Madhya Pradesh police said, “Five members of a family allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in Raudi village of Alirajpur district following which police have registered a case and started investigation. An SIT has been formed under the leadership of SDOP Jobat to investigate the matter.”
After inspecting the spot, Alirajpur Superintendent of Police Rajesh Vyas said that considering the seriousness of the incident, an investigation team has been formed under the leadership of SDPO Alirajpur. FSL team has been called. The case will be properly investigated and the cause will be ascertained. The bodies were found hanging. Scientific investigation is important. We will investigate this case from all angles.
The bodies of the couple and their children were found hanging from a noose in the house
It is noteworthy that on Monday, the bodies of a couple and their three children were found hanging in their house under suspicious circumstances in Raudi village of Sondwa tehsil in Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh. A police officer said that prima facie it appears to be a case of mass suicide. The police officer said that the police received information about the death of five people at 7 am on Monday. The officer said that the deceased have been identified as Rakesh Dodwa (27), his wife Lalita Dodwa (25) and their children Lakshmi (9), Prakash (7) and Akshay (5).
